About the Role
We’re looking to build a team of highly organised and proactive Programme Administrators to join our Programme Administration team and play a vital role in supporting the student journey.
This is a fast-paced, varied position where you will take ownership of day-to-day administration across one or more academic programmes. You’ll work closely with academic teams, students, and central services to ensure that processes run smoothly, deadlines are met, and students receive a high-quality, responsive service.
As part of a collaborative team, you’ll contribute to the continuous improvement of systems and processes—ensuring they are efficient, consistent, and fully aligned with our College regulations and academic standards.
PLEASE NOTE: We are recruiting for multiple roles across 3 divisions in total, Foundation Programmes, Social Sciences, and Creative Programmes, As part of your application please specify which area you would like to be considered for.
Key responsibilities:
This is a hands-on role where accuracy, organisation, and initiative are key:
· Acting as a first point of contact for students, staff, and lecturers—providing timely, professional support.
· Coordinating teaching and timetabling support, including arranging cover and maintaining clear communications.
· Supporting student lifecycle processes, including inductions, timetables, assessments, and results.
· Managing assessment administration, ensuring submission links, marking processes, and feedback are accurate and delivered on time.
· Maintaining and updating student records and programme data systems with a high level of accuracy.
· Supporting exam boards, reporting, and data analysis, including collating attendance and performance data.
· Managing programme documentation and SharePoint folders, ensuring version control and accessibility.
· Supporting academic staff onboarding, including inductions, documentation, and system access.
· Processing HPL invoices and liaising with finance teams.
· Working collaboratively with teams such as Registry, timetabling, and the Student Hub to ensure a seamless student experience
About You:
You’ll be detail-driven, adaptable, and confident working in a busy academic environment.
We’re particularly interested in candidates who have:
· Experience in an administrative role, ideally within student or programme administration.
· Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
· Strong IT skills, including MS Office and data systems.
· The ability to interpret and apply processes, policies, and complex information accurately.
· Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to engage effectively with students and staff at all levels.
· A collaborative approach and the ability to build strong working relationships.
· A student-focused mindset, with a friendly, professional and supportive approach.
· High attention to detail, with a methodical and conscientious way of working.
· Experience in a Higher Education setting and familiarity with student systems would be an advantage but is not essential.
