Now, we’re looking for a Subject Lead – BA Business Management to drive academic excellence, inspire innovation, and elevate the student experience across our dynamic programme.

Lead the design, development and delivery of a modern Business Management curriculum
Champion teaching excellence across Levels 4–6 (with L3 & L7 desirable)
Strengthen industry integration and professional relevance
Drive student success, retention, and progression
Contribute strategically to the future direction of the Business School
You’ll work closely with the Course Director and academic colleagues to ensure quality, consistency, and innovation across all areas of learning, teaching and assessment.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
Academic Leadership
Lead curriculum design, validation and continuous improvement
Oversee assessment standards, moderation and feedback quality
Contribute to annual monitoring and quality assurance processes
Support examination boards and academic governance
Teaching Excellence
Deliver a full teaching load across your specialist area
Create engaging, inclusive, and industry-relevant learning experiences
Provide academic and pastoral support to students
Embed reflective practice, chunked learning, and experiential teaching methods
Strategic & Operational Contribution
Support recruitment and admissions
Develop industry links and professional partnerships
Contribute to staff development and cross-college initiatives
Engage in research, scholarly activity, or professional practice
What We’re Looking For
Essential
Relevant BA and postgraduate qualification (or equivalent professional experience)
Teaching qualification (PGCert or equivalent)
Proven Higher Education teaching and assessment experience
Curriculum design and quality management expertise
Experience leading or managing education provision
Desirable
PhD or higher research degree
Fellowship (or higher) of Advance HE
Strong industry networks that enhance student employability
You’ll bring an innovative, reflective approach to teaching, a strong commitment to inclusivity, and the ability to motivate both students and colleagues. Most importantly, you’ll combine academic credibility with real-world relevance.
