Deliver and support construction and sampling workshops.
Create technical samples and step-by-step learning guides.
Support students in overcoming technical challenges during timetabled and open-access sessions.
Maintain and develop the pattern cutting block library and toile archive.
Ensure all industrial sewing and pressing equipment is safe, maintained, and ready for use.
Oversee fashion studios, ensuring health & safety compliance and high studio standards.
Manage studio stock, fabric supplies, petty cash, and inventory.
Support exhibitions, fashion shows, open days and college events.
Embed current industry developments into the student learning experience.
Maintain strong links with professional networks and suppliers.

BA in a relevant subject or equivalent professional experience.
Strong pattern cutting, garment construction and tailoring expertise.
Experience working as a garment technician in a professional studio or university.
Confident using industrial sewing machinery and pressing equipment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to give constructive, supportive feedback.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage studio resources effectively.

Care deeply about craftsmanship and technical excellence.
Enjoy mentoring and supporting diverse learners.
Take pride in maintaining professional studio standards.
Stay curious about innovation in construction and garment technology.
Work well collaboratively while managing your own priorities.
What You’ll Gain
The opportunity to shape future fashion professionals.
