London College of Contemporary Arts (LCCA) is seeking an experienced and passionate Subject Lead to play a key role in the delivery and development of our Foundation Degree programmes (Levels 4–5) in business, hospitality and related disciplines.

The Role
Reporting to the Course Director, Foundation Degree Programmes, you will lead and teach across a portfolio of modules, contributing to curriculum design, quality assurance and the day-to-day academic management of the programmes.
Teaching at LCCA takes place across weekdays, evenings and weekends. We are open to discussing preferences and ask applicants to indicate their availability as part of their application.
Key Responsibilities
Teach and manage modules at Levels 4–5
Lead subject planning, assessment, timetabling and resource management
Design engaging course materials, unit handbooks, online content and assessments
Provide academic and pastoral support to students
Monitor student progress and support retention and achievement
Lead standardisation and quality assurance processes
Contribute to recruitment activities, course committees and exam boards
Maintain strong industry links and current subject knowledge
Support student employability, enterprise and real-world learning opportunities
Promote equality, diversity and inclusion in all aspects of teaching and learning
Engage in scholarly activity, professional practice and continuous professional development
Teaching areas may include:
Academic Skills, Digital Innovation, Finance, Marketing, Project Management, Leadership, Strategy, Enterprise, Business Research, Sustainability, Event Design and Real-World Business Practice.
About You
Essential:
Relevant BA and postgraduate qualification
Experience teaching and assessing in Higher Education
Strong understanding of Foundation Degrees and supporting non-traditional learners
Experience of curriculum design and inclusive teaching practices
Ability to design, deliver and assess engaging, practice-based learning
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
Commitment to equality, diversity and continuous improvement
Desirable:
PhD or higher-level research degree
Teaching qualification (PGCert or equivalent)
Fellowship (or Higher) of the Higher Education Academy
(If not already held, successful candidates will be supported to complete a PGCert during employment.)
